This week we’ll be exploring seven different paintings from around the world! Each piece of art will be from a different continent! Please read on to learn more about these impactful paintings and what they mean to the world!
1. A Thousand Li of Rivers and Mountains - Wang Ximeng: This lovely painting from Asia illustrates nature and its beautiful scenery. This enchanting work of art explores a landscape full of so many wonders and is one that has been beloved by many. Appreciation and praise are evident in this painting as the artist displays nature in such a unique and special way.

2. Impression, Sunrise - Claude Monet: This iconic piece from Europe depicts what was made to be from the perspective of someone looking through a window that reveals the harbor in La Havre. It signifies the beauty of the sunlight reflecting on the water and the people floating by on the boats. Overall, this piece does a wonderful piece of reminding us to appreciate the nature around us.

3. Golden Summer, Eaglemont – Arthur Streeton: This work of art from Australia does a nice job of creating a landscape during the summer. Its rich colors and texture make viewers almost feel as if they were in the place of the painting. Without a doubt, this artwork had reached the hearts of many as they explore a new world of artistic possibilities.

4. Niagara - Frederic Edwin Church: This piece from North America stunningly captures the magnificence of the famous Niagra Falls. The details and dedication put into the painting make it that much more enjoyable to view. Even after over a hundred years, viewers of this work of art are still marveled at the beautiful moment captured onto paint and canvas.

5. Retopistics: A Renegade Excavation - Julie Mehretu: This painting from Africa has so much meaning behind it. The colors, the shapes, the swirls - they don’t seem to be all there by accident, but rather with purpose. The cleverness that went behind this piece is remarkable and one that shouldn’t be ignored as a new story can be unfolded with every shift of your eyes.

6. Composition - Roberto Matta: This piece from South America shows the world from the perspective of abstract. The mix of shapes and colors makes viewing the painting like going on a journey through the mind of the painter, Matta. This work of art has inspired many other artists through its unique style and impact.

7. EMERGENCE - David McEown: Last but not least, we have this gorgeous painting from no other than Antarctica! This breathtaking scenery along with the captivating colors make this piece feel like a dream. Just like all art around the world, this painting gets to have the honor of impacting others through its ability to bring happiness and relieve stress.
